Brendenreeves :: SoundEngineer

So here we are.  The ever awkward ‘about me’ page... We’ll just get the messy small talk out of the way now and quickly move on to the big talk.  My name is Brenden and I’m currently a freelance sound engineer working in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.  I’ve got a daschund named Vienna and a couple of houseplants. 

Now that we’ve covered those very exciting bases, let’s talk about my sound design/engineering experience.  Recently, I’ve worked on a number of one-off gigs including a corporate charity event, corporate party, and a 2008 election-night coverage event.  I’ve also consulted on a number of sound system design projects which involved building from the ground-up. 

Software packages that I am currently proficient in include ProTools, Logic, Smaart, and Tracktion.  I’ve also worked on projects requiring use of Final Cut, DVD Studio Pro, and Adobe Premiere, and I can easily learn new software programs as needed.

While I enjoy working on a freelance basis, I am very interested in exploring working directly for a company specializing in live sound.  I am open to relocation as long as the job and the company are a good personal fit.
